Summer Fashion - Kimonos

I'll admit I'm a hermit and I pretty much only get a glimpse of what is becoming popular through my friends and my mom. They, of course, informed me that Kimonos were really trending so I just had to get my hands on one. Also, I wanted an alternative to those summer cardigans I usually wear.

I've actually had this piece for a while but I never got to wear it until now. My grandpa brought it for me from the Philippines. I don't think he quite understood the function of a kimono since he told me I definitely needed to wear clothes under this... Silly grandpas.

This one I got from JC Penney. The item was already discounted and my friend had a coupon that took an extra $10 off so I got it for only $5.29! How could I pass up something gray?
