This was a Monday night dream. On Tuesdays, I have clinical for Women's. This week, I have Spring Break so I don't have clinical, which is weird for me. I guess my mind wasn't used to it.
I arrive at school with my scrubs ready to go to clinical. Except, I don't know where to go. The campus recently combined the medical campus with a large outdoor mall in the area. They have basically put it together so that the mall and hospitals are all attached and look like one whole building. I am new to all this because apparently this whole merge happened over the weekend. So I'm looking at the building and I have no idea where to go.
I go to one of the entrances and head down the hallway only to find myself among classrooms. Obviously, I've gone to the wrong place. I do recognize some people in one of the classrooms though. They are some of my classmates, but they don't have clinical today. I ask them where the entrance is and they say they have no idea.
Then, I realize that I'm wearing different scrubs. I'm supposed to be wearing dark green scrubs but instead I have the light blue scrubs from L&D. Well, I guess I forgot to put these scrubs back in the scrub machine. Darn, my clinical instructor is going to kill me. Plus, I'm not even on L&D today so I can't just wear it.
I run off to another building to see where the hospital will be. Instead, I just end up in the lobby of another part of the mall. I see some other students/peers and like me, they have no idea where to go either. We decide to team up and look together.
We end up outside and behind us is the back of some other hospital. However, that hospital is for the Psych clinical and we had done that already. But we should be close to where we should be. We climb these ladders and walk over some bridge made of cloth to some high up hill where there is a path. There are some instructors on the path and they tell us that the hospital is at the top of the hill. Well, at least now we know where to go...?

Nursing Nightmare
Just some background to my real life. On Fridays, I only have one class: Pediatric Nursing. For the semester, I only have three classes total.
In my dream, I had a fourth class called Veterinary Nursing. The class is right after my Friday class and the clinical was for Friday night. It wasn't in the Nursing School but some other building somewhere else. You can't drive to it, you can only walk to it because it is floating in the middle of nowhere. Its only connection to anything else is this dangerous narrow pedestrian bridge with no barriers on the sides (think Bridge of Eldin in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess).
So I'm in this building talking to the instructor. She is telling me that this class is important because humans are animals so studying animals is beneficial to our knowledge. So she showed me a poster of the inner organs and bones of a dog and a similar poster of an infant. She is like, "See, aren't they so similar?!?" I didn't really agree but I nodded anyway.
She continues to take me on the tour of the building, and she keeps asking me if I'm hungry. It was still early so I wasn't hungry yet. Finally, she releases me for lunch, giving me an hour to eat. An hour is a pretty long time and I'm still not yet hungry.
I walk over the scary bridge to the building with the cafeteria to meet with my family to eat lunch with them. I stay with them for 30 minutes then I decide to get something to eat. As I go to line up, suddenly a whole bunch of people line up in front of me. I'm having a hard time choosing what to get because I can't see the board.
I get up to the front and I decide to get a hamburger to play it safe. Interestingly enough, the cheeseburger looks the same as the hamburger. I saw some guy get this delicious sandwich. It has egg salad with some honey ham and white bread with some lettuce and tomatoes. It looked delicious and I immediately regretted my decision. I want that sandwich.
As I get my food and am about to it, it starts to rain and hail outside. News say that it is freezing rain and the ground is pretty much frozen over. I have to get back to the building in less than 30 minutes and cross over that dangerous and possibly frozen bridge and maybe slip off to my doom. I don't even know if I'll be able to make it in time. Yeah, life sucks.

Trapped and Insane
Another dream. There was a bit going on before the start of this but I can barely remember and the memories are a mess. It's confusing to put together. But dreams hardly make sense anyway. This dream was kind of a creepy one.
I am in class, history class to be exact. For some reason, I had come late and missed a bit of the beginning part. I sit down and I take out a worksheet we have been filling out for the past few classes and we are now on the last page. I missed the first few questions because I was late. The next question we were filling out was something about the names of the ninja turtles. Someone kept telling me that the name of one of the ninja turtles was Lorenzo. I told her that it didn't seem right but she insisted that it was correct so I wrote it now (silly me, Lorenzo is not a ninja turtle).
So they go one with the lecture and eventually we have to turn in the paper. I tell my teacher that I didn't answer some of them because I was late. She says it's ok. She looks over my paper and I have scribbled notes all over it. The notes are extensive but messy. She still accepts it though. She tells me to write my name on the back of the paper. Instead of writing my first name, I write "Ego then hand it to her. She just laughs when she reads it and tells me to write my first name. I easily am able to change it to Megan then I turn it into her. So now, class is dismissed.
I have math class next. I walk through the hallways lined with lockers and I'm just so exhausted. I go to the cafeteria and get some food. Two small bags of vegetables and noodles (obviously this is a dream because I would never eat such a thing in real life). I walk over to an empty hallway and go into one of the rooms. It is the size of my bedroom now but it is completely empty. There are three other people in there.
Backstory, I'm in a mental institution. And this room is the living quarters I share with five other people. Incidentally enough, all of them are Asian. So I get there and my other three roommates are making lunch. They have a large pot of food and I brought the vegetables to share. So I sit down with them and start to eat. Another one of my roomies comes into the room to eat. I call him onii-san and apparently I have a slight crush on him.
So we eat and he asks "Shouldn't you be in class right now?"
Well, he's right. I'm technically supposed to be in math class right now. I reply that I'm skipping class because I'm so hungry and tired and also using this time to study for my Nursing Science Exam this afternoon. So here we are eating in this tiny room we share. At night, bars actually come down to block the door so we don't get out. It's an added measure from the last time we all tried to escape. Obviously, we didn't succeed.
However, we have another plan at escaping. I mean, we really hate this place. The staff are the crazy ones. I have been practicing my teleporting skills. However, I'm not able to do it very well just yet. I'm able to teleport from the room to the cafeteria, which isn't too far away. But I can only teleport myself and a few other people.
After we eat, onii-san and I go out to the front yard to get some air. Apparently he has had a long day too. We stand at the edge of the yard and a staff member comes passing with his golf cart saying "Don't you even dare try to escape!"
So we stand there looking at the outside that we try so desperately to get to. I could teleport us but then I'd be leaving people behind. Plus, I can't teleport very far. The staff has police all around the neighborhood we are in so I'd have to try to get past them to freedom. The sun sets and I'm so sad I'm trapped.
The End.

My First Drill Day
Another weird dream. This weekend, a friend of mine, who I shall call Lynn, went to drill. Apparently they went shooting at the range today or something. I always did wonder what they did at drill. So I guess my dream was I went there too. Here goes.
I'm at drill with my friend Lynn. I went with her because for some reason I can this time. They were all in...I guess PT clothing? I don't know. Whatever this place was, it looked more like a park/camp ground. It had nice green grass and a lake with a fountain in the middle. It even had cute hills. Then there is an eating area that is under a roof with rooms for a bathroom there. So there I am with my friend Lynn. I'm actually not in PT clothes. I'm wearing a white tank top with my hot pink shorts. I stuck out pretty bad.
So Lynn tells me we are going shooting. We get to the shooting area and everyone else takes these big guns (rifles?) out of their pockets and I only brought two small hand guns in my pockets (I don't know where these pockets came from. In real life, these shorts have no pockets). Lynn and her friends see that and laugh at me. So she tells me to go home and get my rifle. Fortunately, home was walking distance away. So I leave the little park thingy to go home.
So I'm walking home and there is some kind of slowly spreading fire near the park/camp. There wasn't anyone out on the streets except me so I figure they had all been evacuated. Anyway, I miss my turn to home because my parents had moved into a new house and I wasn't familiar with the neighborhood yet. It was all very confusing. I pass by a school bus which was not a school bus at all but a pickup truck where they put children in the back because for some reason, that is the accepted practice of busing children in this area. So I pass the bus and finally am one block (but a very long block) away from home. I try to surprise my parents by sneaking through the backyard but they happen to be on the patio so that was a fail.
My mom and my aunt are on the patio hanging out. It's a nice covered patio that is painted white. Wherever we are, from the patio, you can see the river. So I go inside the house and the storage room is next to a small bedroom. I peek in the bedroom and the baby (I have no idea where that baby came from but apparently it's part of our family) is up on the bed, awake. The baby sees me looking and starts to cry. My mom comes in to get the baby. I go in the storage room and get my rifle and head back out the house through the front door.
The house we have now is a nice single home that looks pretty spacious on the outside. So I leave the house and cross the street. I am walking and my friend Derek is calling my name, telling me to come over. So I go and he asks where I'm going and I tell him. He tells me that they are all just hanging out in this open roof restaurant, eating. I look inside and it's pretty much everyone I know from CCM there. They all say "Hi Megan" in unison. I'm almost tempted to stay and not even go back to the drill place. But I tell them I have to go so he tells me to take a brownie. I go ahead and take two. With one in my mouth and another in my hand, I run back to the drill place.
I'm running and it seems like the slow fire has spread a bit since I passed. It is still burning on a few houses and trees down the street I'm walking. Still no one around. It's actually quite an eerie silence and there are no sounds of ambulances or firetrucks coming. There aren't even any sounds of animals around. So I keep running and eventually reach the drill place. The front of it became flooded because I guess the fire melted some of the huge ice sculptures and now the water from it has flooded the place. The people aren't shooting anymore and they are in that eating area, which is raised from the ground so the water isn't there. I walk somewhat in the water and my friend Lynn tells me that they are done shooting. I went home for nothing. I'm so mad because this is the third time she has told me to go home to get something that I ended up not needing.
I ask them if they are going to do anything about the fire, you know, being in the national guard and all. They tell me they keep hearing about the fire but they don't know where it is. *facepalm* I tell them it's right outside the gates of the park. So they walk over to where I am and see the fire. They just stare at it but don't do anything. Anyway, drill is over now so Lynn and I drive back to my parents' house. It's nighttime now. We are out on the sidewalk. Lynn is talking to some of her friends from drill. She then tells me to go buy some cigarrettes in the store nearby. She hands me a $4 bill and a $1 (wherever we are, we have colorful bills). I agree to do it and go in the store.
The store is pretty small. It's about the size of a child's bedroom. The owner of the store is the cashier. He is some African guy whose English is not very good. I'm trying to ask him if he has cigarettes but he is having trouble communicating and he is mixing in Spanish with his English and I suck at Spanish so it isn't working out that well. I thought he was talking to me about cigarettes in his shop since there were boxes that looked like cigarette packs on the wall behind the counter. What he actually told me was a friend of his was selling this really awesome something, whatever that something was, you can smoke it. So I'm trying to figure out what he's saying and he tells me that his friend is selling that something at his store in some place. To tell me where it is, he shows me a map and points to where the city is. He then tells me that it is going to be on February 12 and the store will open secretly at 3 am and you can only get it then so I better be there.
The store suddenly dissolves and turns into this field on an island. So I ask him how far the place is or how long it would take me to drive there. He tells me it is about 60 songs away if you are playing music. I wasn't really going to get much more out of that so I happen to have my fishing rod so I go ahead and go fishing. I catch a few fish and put it in my bag for tonight's dinner. After my bag is filled, me and the guy go to the entrance where the bridge is to leave the island. Lynn meets me there and says she wanted to go fishing too. But it's too late and I'm already done. So we are walking on like the wooden pier when we get to the bridge.
So the bridge is now white and I know that wasn't the bridge before because this one is made of plastic. Apparently they were doing bridgework and we didn't get the memo. We start to go up the slippery plastic bridge. I'm holding on for dear life on the railing. This plastic bridge has lots of holes in the middle, big enough for anyone to go fall through. There are a lot of large fish down there in the lake surrounding the island we were just on. So I close my eyes and go up as fast as I can. But I swear, the plastic starts turning into a plastic bag as we go up. I'm the last in the line so the plastic bag is all stretched and the holes wrap around my ankles instead of staying hard plastic. My friends reach the normal wooden part of the bridge and pull me up. I have to untangle my feet from the plastic.
I'm relieved now that we are on the wooden part of the bridge. We are so high up right now because of the height difference between the island below and the cliffs around it. We are walking, and then the bridge just falls. We hold on for dear life but at least it is wooden, so it floats on the water. At this point I'm pissed. It was becoming my worst day ever.

Princess of the Underground Castle
Another odd dream as usual. It seems my main character is usually a girl. Perhaps her character is reflective of me? I do see resemblances but in the dream, it doesn't feel like first person so I don't think it is me exactly, but like a character my mind created that has some similarities and perhaps is based off of me. Ok, well here goes.
A young girl, most likely a teenager of about 16 or so, wakes up to a phone call on her cell phone. She answers it and it is her relatives wishing her a good day. She smiles and tells them thank you. She stretches and gets out of bed to turn on the light.
Her bedroom looks quite small at first for her bed. She has quite a big bed with expensive sheets and pillows. However, that is actually just an area for her bed. Her room extends much farther out than that. Her room resembles an apartment but it is just one room in the house. It is large because she is part of a very rich family.
So shown above is her room. It was simply too difficult to describe with words. I'm terrible with that type of thing. The room has pretty much everything included. I mean, she doesn't really need much space for anything else. So you can infer that she does not leave her room very often.
She is simply dressed in her tank top and shorts when there is a knock on the door. She gets up and walks through the mini kitchen to the only entrance to her room. Now I say mini kitchen because the cabinets and stuff makes the kitchen hallway quite narrow and it is a very small kitchen. She only has a mini kitchen because she doesn't really cook. So there is a large refrigerator and lots of cabinet space of snacks and whatnot but a small stove and a nice microwave. Not much counter top space because she doesn't really need it. She does have a coffee maker and a toaster and a really small sink. She doesn't mind it though because it fits to her needs. After all, the mansion has its own large kitchen with hired cooks to make her meals. Anyway, back to the story.
She opens the door and there stands her brother and a friend. Her brother is in the military, you can kind of tell by his hair cut, and he met his friend there. She lets them in and they talk for a little bit and as siblings do, they fight. And so she hits him because she gets annoyed and her brother just laughs. Then her brother just goes and takes a nap in her bed. The friend is kind of just sitting there awkwardly. He's quite a nice guy, soft spoken and mild mannered but definitely not timid. Unlike the brother, he's tall and attractive with dark hair. In other words, the girl likes him.
This is too difficult without names. Ok so I'll just name the brother umm Scott. Then I'll name the girl Michelle. And I'll name the friend Jeremy (for some reason I thought of Jeremy Renner when I was thinking of names). Ok, back to the story.
So Michelle likes him. And while her brother is sleeping, she is trying to attract his attention. So she does that thing where she bends over to show him her butt in her short shorts and he doesn't seem to even notice. Like seriously, she is doing it so obviously that it almost looks desperate and he is not even looking. Unbeknownst to her, Jeremy actually likes her and he does notice but he is trying not to show it and is doing it well. It comes across though as if he is not interested in her and that just makes Michelle frustrated.
So thinking he doesn't notice, she walks down her hallway/closet. It is a hallway/closet because it technically was supposed to be a hallway but she turned it into a closet by lining the walls with shelving and storage things that are meant to be in a walk in closet but she simply has too much stuff. So the walls are filled with shelves of shoes, hats, accessories, drawers of jewelry, lined with clothes. Just so much stuff. So she walks down and into the living room. It is quite a nice living room with a huge TV and of course, every game console in existence. To her right is a bathroom and to her left is a large covered patio. She goes out on the patio and you can see the backyard of her family's estate. Then on the right of the patio is this little hut looking thing. It's an outdoor sitting area with the windows of it lined with a screen so bugs don't come it but you can still enjoy the mild weather.
Inside the hut, there is a secret passage. No one knows she has one in there because no one ever really goes in her room, especially that hut. Plus, it is hidden in that hut. So she goes down the secret passage thinking no one has followed her but actually, Jeremy followed her. He was curious to know where she was going. So she is going down this stone passage that seems to be going way underground. Then there are a set of booby traps to make sure no one who isn't meant to be down there goes down there. Right before the first booby trap, which is a wall of spikes falling down on the room, Jeremy freaks out and stops her.
She is surprised that he was behind her and a little annoyed that she didn't sense him. It's too late. Her secret is out now anyway so she tells him not to worry and follow her. So through the first booby trap, she has mastered getting through it. But Jeremy goes through it faster than her, which annoys her. Michelle likes to win. So going through the booby traps becomes like a game to them as they go through it. All the while, bonding cheesily I guess. So they reach the main square of the underground castle and it is huge. There seems to be a party going on but in the underground, there is always a party going on.
Michelle leads Jeremy down to meet her friends. Right now, they are having a chocolate party so there are lots of stands of different types of chocolates. There is a chocolate fountain and chocolate waterfall and chocolate sculptures. Just so much chocolate. She takes him over to the chocolate truffles stand, which is the biggest stand and is in the center of everything. It is a circular stand with the vendors inside and the stand is all glass so the people can see the chocolate and pick what they want. Michelle happens to be the princess there so she gets what she wants for free. She and Jeremy goes around and eat all the chocolate they want.
Michelle meets up with a good friend of hers, I'll call her B (I just remember her name starts with a B but I don't remember the name). So she introduces them and B knows this is the guy Michelle likes so she gives her a winky face and leaves them alone. Above, fire is blowing from the mouth of the great stone dragon. He can't really do much since he is stone so he can't move from up there. He just blows fire to pass the time every now and then.
They spend time together there for hours and bond. They both get to know each other and find out they like each other. Then they kiss and they go to her room down there and do stuffs *cough*sex*cough* like cuddle and whatever. So yeah, Michelle is convinced that they are now dating because of what happened. Because, I mean, what kind of guy does that with a girl and just leaves right? *sarcasm*
So they leave the underground and go back to her room. Brother still happens to be sleeping. Must have been a super long nap. After that day though, nothing has changed. He still treats her like he did before, which is basically being uninterested. They don't really talk or hang out. Sometimes, it almost seems like he avoids her and Michelle is just devastated by this. This goes on for like weeks. So the day of her birthday party up in the mansion, Jeremy and her brother are in the party. During the party, he so obviously ignores her even more even though she was all nice and dressed up.
When the party ends, she is super frustrated and locks herself in her room. She pretty much hates him at this point and Jeremy knows it too. So in her large ballgown dress, she runs down to the underground to have the party she really wanted. Her friend B is setting up the party for her. Michelle gets there early though because B is still setting up. As they are talking, Jeremy comes down. B sees an awkward moment so she conveniently leaves the two alone to go to the main party room to set everything up. Michelle is pissed off and refuses to talk to him at first, but then starts yelling after Jeremy keeps following her.
Of course she is frustrated that he ignores her but he then tells her that he didn't want to make it obvious. Just because he comes from a poor family and blah blah blah status quo and socioeconomic disparities, like a reverse Jane Austen novel. He says she made it so hard especially that night to ignore her because she was so pretty and she forgives him and they make up.
Meanwhile, in the other room, B is directing the workers where to put where. In the process, the workers accidentally knock down the pillars that are holding the great stone dragon up. So he falls to the floor. The great stone dragon, never having moved for centuries, freaks out and starts blowing fire everywhere. His magic fire somehow turns B into an iphone. So he is blazing fire everywhere and out the entrance. So Michelle and Jeremy go in the room and close the door so it doesn't come out. They have to calm him down somehow.
Jeremy starts to be all heroic and dodging the flames around the room to save B and the other workers. Michelle walks right in front of the great stone dragon. He is about to blow fire on her. Of course, this is a climax moment right here. Jeremy sees what is happening and does the slow motion run while yelling NOOOOOOOOOO! In his attempt to save Michelle from the deadly flames but come on, she's no damsel in distress (warning: this will not be your typical helpless princess. I hate that archetype). So she uses her powers to redirect the flames into a magic ball which she then turns into concrete. The great stone dragon is in awe so he stops blowing fire. She then uses the concrete to create the pillars that were holding the great stone dragon up and she levitates him back to where he belongs.
All is well now except that B is an iphone and they can't really figure out how to fix that. She is screaming curse words and I guess she is a 4S because she has that Siri screen on that has what she is saying on there. So she is forever doomed to be an iphone. Well they still get the party together have lots of fun that night.
Epilogue to years and years later. Michelle and Jeremy are married, living in a small house that looks like what Michelle's room used to be. They still have the secret passage and Michelle uses B as her extra phone. Well, Jeremy and Michelle switch off sometimes so B can have a change of scenery.

First Come, First Serve Hotel
I had a lot of dreams that night that didn't make sense and didn't flow when I remembered it in the morning. It was just all so disjointed. I remember one dream where I was a ghost and experimenting walking through walls then another one where I'm an investigator of a murder mystery case full of drama. The memories didn't make that much sense but I did remember my last dream. It was the one right before I woke up. Here goes...
I am pretty much crawling up this hill, exhausted. Apparently, I had been running/jogging/sprinting/walking/eventually crawling towards a destination where there will be a huge get together of all my friends. I wouldn't exactly call it a party but more like a reunion perhaps. A lot of people had been bused there but for some reason, being the silly person as I am, I kept missing the bus. Every time I would get to a different stop, I had missed the bus by like a few seconds. So in the end, I had gone the whole way on foot. I was tired beyond belief.
At the top of this hill was my destination. I crawl up using my arms because my legs were too tired to move. I see the buses in the loop, dropping off tons of friends and classmates as they enter the hotel. I manage to get on my feet, sweating profusely, and walk to the hotel to check in. This hotel is where we will all be staying and our get together will be in their main grand ballroom. Our stay is free, thankfully, but getting rooms is first come first serve. I wanted to get a large bedroom so after checking in, I run to where the rooms are.
First floor is busy. There seems to be like a communal shower room and everyone is taking a shower. It's pretty loud. At this point, I'm in dire need of a shower. I had sweat through all my clothes during my trip. However, people are claiming rooms and I would like to claim a nice room. I see a room I like and try to open it but it is locked. Apparently rooms are still locked and people are leaving their things by the door as kind of a signal that they have claimed that room. Most of the rooms are locked and claimed. I decide to head upstairs.
Second floor, the rooms aren't much better. Rooms are small with a communal bathroom. Bleh sharing. I head upstairs.
Third floor, seems to be about the same but I'm intrigued to what is on the last floor. It's quiet up in the third floor and no one has claimed any rooms yet. At least I know I'll have a room.
Going up the stairs to the fourth and last floor, I see the ceiling of the hotel. It's glass and I see branches of a tree full of beautiful flowers hovering over it, letting through bits of light from the sun. It was really a sight to see. I head to the fourth floor and it is a very small floor, only about 3 rooms. I learn these are the large master bedrooms. I quickly claim one for myself and the door happens to be unlocked! I swear it was meant to be. Downside, the bathroom is outside across the hall. But I don't really mind it that much at the moment.
The room itself is so big. There is a king sized bed. Nice soft carpets so I take my shoes off. Then it has almost a separate room that is has a step up into a small sort of living area with lush couches and a huge window that encompasses the sides of that half-circle room. I guess you could call it a sun room. The view from there is awesome and I can see everything. I'm glad I bothered going upstairs to see what was there. There are no elevators so it is a hassle to have to walk up here but it was definitely worth it.
Now that I have my room, it's time to shower.
The End.
Like Mulan, Except Tragic: A Trilogy
This is an odd dream. Anyway, there is some back story before the present time of when the dream was actually occurring. I liken it to a movie where the dream I was having was the third movie. I didn't dream about what happened before but it was just something I already knew. It's hard to explain. Anyway, here is what happened before the story line of the dream begins:
In the first movie, this Asian girl who looks suspiciously like Mulan is recruited a sensei to save umm...the world I guess. So she is trained by him very intensely and she falls in love with him in the process. He is much older than her though but has aged well, I liken him to an Asian version of Richard Gere (I daresay that man is still attractive). Anyway, after her training she goes and does her thing to save the world. Meets a guy who falls in love with her and is like perfect. So he asks her to marry him but she can't because she is in love with her sensei. However the sensei is part of a secret society and a secret village with strict rules who don't allow outsiders. Now that his job with her is done, he must return. But she is so smitten by him that she agrees to live in the village as the lowest socioeconomic person there, basically a slave. It's all so unfortunate, really.
Second movie. Starts out with a Japanese princess who gets kidnapped by these Asian villains. She is so very pretty and helpless, stereotypical of how princesses in distress are portrayed. It so happens that this princess is the child of the sensei! Her name is like Kisagurumi or something long and hard to pronounce like that. Well, for some reason, her nickname is Mindy, so let's just go with that. So dear Mindy is kidnapped and sensei is distressed and distraught. Dear Mulan lookalike, who's name happens to be Cindy, goes to rescue her for him. Being awesome as she is, she successfully does so. Delighted his daughter is saved, sensei tells Cindy that when she returns to the village, things will be different this time. She is hopeful that he will finally love her in return.
Now here is where my dream begins:
Movie three, things have not changed. There cindy is, still a slave in this village where she is considered an outsider. She has made a few friends but they are of lower class, just like her. Being a slave, she wears ragged old clothes and has chains on her arm as she does hard labor and menial work. The sensei she loves still does not love her in return. She's sick of it and she wants to get away. She devises a plan to escape this secret village whose forcefield makes it hard for anyone to get in or out.
On a normal day as she is working, chance has it that somehow, a large ogre gets into the forcefield and starts attacking. She is grabbed by the ogre and screams for help. One of her friends punches the ogre and she jumps out of the ogre's hand. In the confusion, the citizen who normally opens and closes the door of the forcefield, is shocked by the sight and forgets to close the door, letting the winds blow in from the outside and knocking him far away. Cindy lands near the entrance and starts forcing her way through the wind to get to the exit.
Her sensei, from atop a tower on the hill looking over the village, yells what seems to be her name. Cindy looks up, almost losing sight of her plan at the thought that her beloved sensei is worried about losing her. WRONG! He is yelling Mindy. I don't think he even remembers Cindy's name. He only remembers that it is somewhere close to his daughter's nickna,e. Disappointed and further heart broken, Cindy spurs on while a small friend of hers follows, intending to leave the village as well.
They make it through the exit and out the other side. Her small friend gets scared by the outside world so he returns inside. The door is closed and Cindy stands right by near the forcefield as the villagers look at her. She waves goodbye to them and leaves, going to the pier nearby and taking a small boat to go back to her old home.
Her old home is like a farm or a ranch. It has a main house and a lot of land. Her family welcomes her back with open arms and she even gets her old room back. A lot of these comforts, she did not have when she was in the village. As she naps in her old bed, she is awoken by the sound of raindrops hitting the roof. She is almost confused by the sound. In the village, the forcefield drowns out all sounds and lets nothing through, so she had forgotten the rain and what it was like. Her little brother knocks on her door so she goes out to play with him in the dining area. Her house is small but cozy.
That evening, there is a party going on. There are so many people there and they almost take up the whole property. The party is outdoors, of course. She sees a lot of people that she has not seen in a long time. There is this old guy named Chief who is, for some unknown reason, following around her pet parrot. He is trying to grab it or something so he is luring the parrot with its favorite snack: acorns. So she is following him as he is following the parrot. When the parrot is distracted, he sees his chance and grabs the parrot. The parrot does not like that and gets angry and struggles its way out of Chief's hands. He leaves after that.
Cindy takes some acorns and gives it to the parrot. As revenge, the parrot has taken Chief's wallet and gives it to Cindy, telling her to go spend his money on some Chipotle for herself. As tempting as that is, Cindy decides anyway to return the wallet to Chief. The bad news is Cindy has forgotten what Chief looks like. So she asks a family member is she knew what Chief looks like. The description she was given was old with brown hair. That didn't help much but she decides to look.
She looks everywhere for him. On an interesting note, as she is going through the whole party, it seems all the teenagers had a room to themselves where they were all going crazy. Cindy was shocked by the revealing clothes and the alcohol they were drinking. I just thought that was funny. Anyway, so she continues to look for him but she can't find him. Suddenly, everyone is called together to line up for this raffle thing. Cindy figures she'll find him there. So she stands around looking for him. It is actually Chief who finds her first and takes his wallet back.
I know it's sudden but that's the end.
