Eiffel Tower
Sadly the top most tier was closed so we could only do the second tier. Still, we wouldn't have skipped out going to the Eiffel Tower. Due to the recent attacks, security around it is very strict.
Champs-élysées
The actual structure is beautiful of course but all the shops on that street are just as fun. Not to mention such a fancy McDonalds. Don't judge me.
Pantheon and the Latin Quarter
It can't be just me but by Latin Quarter, they don't mean Latinos. I was about to be excited about getting food there but no, they meant the dead language Latin because it's full of schools and students, which makes the area seem a bit more boring.
Musee d'Orsay
Not as large as the Louvre, but still large enough to spend at least two hours in.
Sacre Coeur
It would have been nice if someone told me there was a trolley or something before I went and climbed up so many stairs. The view of the city from there though is so gorgeous.
Although we were in Paris for a little more than a week, it wasn't nearly enough time to truly explore the area. I guess I didn't realize how large the city truly was and how much there is to do. It's a place you will never get bored in, I think. I want to go back. There are still so many other museums and art galleries and old ornate churches to explore. I also did not get to see the catacombs. Another trip is a must.

Paris owns the key to my heart - The Louvre
Another one that is a whole day affair. Walking the whole building is a workout all on its own. Still, it was kind of life changing being able to see in person all these famous works of art that I've only seen in pictures before. This will be picture heavy because there is so much to photograph. Some because of their beauty but some because they look downright hilarious. I had way too many photos that this really just needed its own post.
Walking the entirety of the Louvre was such a workout. My feet were aching the end. The amount of art in there is overwhelming. I almost feel like this place needed a segway guided tour or at least moving floors.
looking done with their shit |
the whole place has a surprising amount of dead fish paintings |
I can honestly say animal crossing has made me more versed in art |
I cannot get over the flying jesus jet |
I don't know if this is purposely knocked over or not |
I thought this was the most memorably and hilarious painting |
Is this not just a tourist photo made into a painting? |
That angel looked like it drunkenly stumbled into the scene |
lol no lie this reminds me of my dad |
