Pokemon White 2 Team

I love Pokemon so obviously I got myself the well anticipated sequel to Pokemon White. I was really proud of this team. I worked so hard on this team. I pre-planned this team and did a whole lot of egg hatching to get pokemon with the right nature. I took the time to fully EV train the pokemon for the team even before transferring them to the White 2 game. I used all the TMs I had from White to give this team a good set of moves. All this just makes me sound like such a nerd with no life but oh well. Having this amazing team made this game so easy.

The only one that isn't EV trained is my starter, Samurott. I tried my best though. I did my best EV training my Serperior but the base stats just don't work well in my favor. I'm more of an offensive pokemon trainer so in my opinion, he was the weakest on my team. I'm so proud to have my other pokemon have attack or special attack above the 300s. It allowed for some easy one hit KOs in battles. I'm especially proud of my black kyurem. Although I didn't get to choose the nature, the stats still turned out amazing. I'm in awe of how high the attack turned out. So that's it for my team. I hope you other pokemon lovers think I made good decisions for my team!

Naked 3 MOTD

My mom got the Naked 3 palette for Christmas so whenever I come home, I like to experiment with it. Although personally, pink and rose hues aren't my thing, I will say the textures and color pay off on this palette are really nice. As I've said before, the quality of these colors are what got me to buy my own Naked 2 palette in the first place. I won't bother doing a review since so many reviews have already been made. Personally, I like to refer to this review.

For my look, I used my favorite colors of the palette. I personally love the colors with only a hint of pink and not overly pink. For my under my brow I used "Strange" then "Nooner" for my crease. I think these two are really great colors. I used "Trick" for the inner half of my eyelid then "Liar" for the outer half. Lastly, I used "Factory" for the outer V. These colors are what I like best in the palette. Other colors like "dust" and "buzz" and most of the lighter colors are just way too pink for my taste. Other colors like "mugshot" and "darkside" are really nice too.

Sorry, my selfie is pretty blurry. I take my pictures with a phone camera and they don't usually do well with indoor lighting at night. It's nice to have the naked 3 to experiment with but I would probably never buy one for myself. I'm not the biggest pink fan. I think the colors do look nice on my skin tone but my preference is still brown hues. Anyone else got the naked 3?

Sushi King Outing OOTD + MOTD

A while ago, I went to a birthday party and it was held at this sushi buffet called "Sushi King". I was excited to try this place because I love sushi and a buffet of sushi is just perfect for me. So here is my OOTD to the birthday party. A sweater from Forever21 and some cheap yet super warm leggings from Marshall's. My shoes are from Charlotte Russe and my coat is also from Charlotte Russe but I got that waaaaaay long ago in high school. It was a time when they were selling their fall coats for $15. So yes, I got this coat for only $15!

I wanted to show this MOTD because this is almost an all Lorac look. I think Lorac is one of my favorite cosmetics brands. The only thing in this look that is not Lorac is my eyeliner, which is Almay and I absolutely hate it. This eyeliner does not last and is neither water, tear, or sweat proof. It will just come off. I began with my Lorac behind the scenes eye primer. For the eyeshadow, I used my Lorac Pro Palette. For under my brows, I used "cream". In the inner corner, I used "nude" then "light bronze" for the inner half of the eyelid and "gold" for the outer half. Then I used "pewter" on the outer V and "taupe" on the crease.

A new product that I tried in this look is my Lorac Tantalizer Highlighter and Matte Bronzer Duo from Ulta. Now this is the travel size, which is only $12. The full size one is $32. I got this mainly for contouring but since I don't contour often, I only got the travel size. The highlighter is shimmery but not overly shimmery. As a highlight, you barely see it. I don't really see it when I apply it on my skin. I really like the bronzer. It has really good pigmentation but you really have to blend it well since it is so pigmented. My lip gloss is the Lorac Sweet Temptations Gloss that I got from my friend for Christmas.

Anyway, back to the sushi. Sushi King is pretty good and are for a fair price. I think it is my favorite new sushi place because it is so much cheaper than the other sushi places I usually go and the food quality, for the rolls I usually get at least, are about the same. Although they do tend to stuff the rolls with lots of cucumber and they will charge you if you leave a certain amount of food behind. Still, I do like the place. I guess the staff should get used to me face because they will be seeing it often from now on.

Quinceañera + MOTD

I went to a friend's goddaughter's Quinceañera a while back, my first Quinceañera ever! I don't know. I just didn't have any Hispanic friends when I was growing up so I didn't know anyone who would have a Quinceañera. I was really excited to attend one. Also, it gave me an occasion to dress up nicely. I really took my time getting ready and looking nice for this event.

The event was at 3pm but I left early around 2pm because it was at a place I was unfamiliar with and I had to drive myself there. When I arrived, there was no one in the parking lot. Well the reason there was no one there was because my GPS had brought me to the wrong place! It took me to a building a little down the street from where I should be.Once I did find the place, I was technically a little late but things were not ready yet.  Still, I had time to chat with a friend and take some selfies. I was really proud of my makeup that day. I thought I did quite good.

I know I used some of these pictures before. I am wearing my Ardell top lashes and some bottom lashes from the Philippines. For my eyes I used my Lorac pro palette. I used champagne on the inner corner then put lt bronze all over the lid. Then I used taupe on my crease. I used Etude house liquid liner on my lid then Ulta liner on my water line. I also lined my eyeliner with black. For my primer, I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer. I'm also wearing my Kimchi Bambi Grey lenses. I used my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream but it's not very tinted so some redness in my face still shows. (Shhh I edited it out of my pictures. Don't tell anyone!) I had an elaborate elixir of items for my lips. I started with Ulta Double Duty lip stain then line my lips with Ulta Contour Lip Liner Punch. I then use Revlon balm stain Romantic for some hydration on my lips then lastly Maybelline Stain Gloss Berry Heavenly. I really want my lip color to stay on.

The name of the birthday girl was Anahi. Isn't that such a pretty name? I've never met someone with such a name before. I wonder if it is unique. The theme of the party was light blue and light pink, almost like cotton candy. They even had a cotton candy machine! The cake was so large and it tasted yummy. They had a three course meal and an MC trying to hype up the crowd. Of course, everything was in Spanish so I couldn't really understand anything. My Spanish is so terrible. The birthday girl and I guess her entourage (I don't know what to call it!) did some really awesome and daring performances. Then there was more dancing and dessert. It was lots of fun!

I was super tired when I got home but it was well worth it. My makeup did manage to stay on although it can't hide my tired expression. I've even left a mess in my bathroom from getting ready. Still, I had so much fun and it was definitely something that will remain memorable, I think, in my lifetime.

Naked 2 MOTD

I finally got on the Urban Decay Naked palette bandwagon a while back. What got me to convert was using my mother's Naked 3 palette which she got for Christmas from "Santa". Although I did not really like the rose hued neutrals since I'm not a huge fan of pink, I did love the textures and pigmentation and blending of the colors. It kind of pushed my desire to the tipping point so I finally bought the Naked 2 for myself. I won't bother doing a review because most people already have this palette or have tried it. Most makeup gurus have it and have reviewed it. Personally, I really like this review for it. It's very detailed.

I began by using some primer. I use my Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye primer. I begin with "Foxy" on my under my brow. I then use "Bootycall" for the inner eye, then "Chopper" for the rest of the lid. I then do an outer V with "Snakebite" and use "Tease" for my crease. For my eyeliner, I use Almay liquid liner and Smashbox pencil liner. I then go over the liner under my eye with "Blackout". I then put on top lashes and bottom lashes to complete the look.

I also tried out the Urban Decay Lip Junkie sample that came with the palette. It's very sheer but I will say it is extremely sticky. I don't know if I'm really a fan of that texture. It does a delicious minty smell that I like. I really love my new Naked palette and I kind of kick myself now that I hadn't gotten it before. Anyone out there, I totally recommend it.
