Neon + Grey Lace Blouse OOTD

I had been browsing my favorite store, Target, as usual in search of some cute finds. I needed more sleeveless summer tops since it has just been so hot outside. I mean the weather has just made anything outdoors into a sauna. As usual, I browse my favorite section first, aka the 70% off sale section. Sale sections can really just be hit or miss sometimes. Fortunately, I got a hit.

I bought this blouse for $5.38, which is exactly around the price range I look for in Target sale racks. The brand is Mossimo. Although in these pictures it looks yellow, it actually has more of a green tint. I'm not usually attracted to overly bright colors but this was just too cute and too cheap to pass up. I really love the grey lace over the bright green. It really goes well together. A bit of product placement over there with my favorite dry cleaning place, Zips. When they say $1.99 for any garment, they really do mean it.

This is how I paired my new blouse into an outfit...no edits, I swear. I've been seeing a lot of under $25 outfits so I tried to do one myself. I don't remember the exact prices for some of these items but I will just round up. As I said, the shirt cost $5.38 but let's just round up to $6. The skirt was from XXI and cost $7.99 (I blogged about them in a past post). The shoes were also from XXI and cost under $4. Then the bag is just some cheap thing my mom gave me from the Philippines so I'll estimate it to be around $5. In total, this outfit cost about $23. Not bad, am I right? I would like to think that I'm quite the budget friendly shopper.
