Nail Polish Collection

Well, this is the collection so far. I'm sure it will expand in the future. It's just on hold for now because I can't paint my nails for school (it's part of policy and the dress code and whatnot). I used to have more but I threw some old ones out. These are what I have remaining.

These are my favorite. Gold is "Midnight Kiss" while Silver is "Cheers to you". Some glittery/shimmery nail polish needs like a hundred coats to look good. This only needs two or three to be very opaque. These two actually came as a set with a China Glaze shot glass. It was given to me for my birthday from a good friend.

Only Gold For Me Top Coat - Sephora by OPI. I just love this top coat. It's so brilliant! It adds even more sparkle for when I use the gold China Glaze nail polish. It's my favorite combination. It also makes it harder for the nail polish to chip. It's a really good top coat. Even taking it off with nail polish remover is hard.

Left is "I think in Pink" while right is "You glitter be good to me". I got this little set for Christmas from my aunt. As you can see, it is a breast cancer theme. My little cousin who loves pink loved it so I painted her toes. The light pink is very opaque and goes on nicely. The glitter doesn't go on very thick so it would take quite a few coats to have a nice layer of sparkle.

This nail polish actually came with a makeup set of the same brand. I had actually never heard of this brand before. The polish doesn't even come with a name. The dark pink is nice though. It goes well also with the shimmer/glitter pink above.

These are just some super cheap nail polish that I bought from Walmart. Actually, the one on the very right is from the dollar store. They don't even have names. From left to right, they are: 401A, 460D, 468, BCC555.

Anyway, whenever it is that I start to make my own money, I will treat myself to some Butter London. They are my favorite so far.

Silver Snake Earrings

I was just looking through earrings on ebay and I stumbled upon these cool earrings. I wasn't really looking for these types of earrings but now that I saw them, I want them! Haha impulsive buy, I guess, but they were too cool to pass up. Plus, they were cheap anyway. I bought them along with my gold earrings with a cuff and chain.

Seller: joyaria
price: $0.99

Shipping took a while. Even though I ordered them the same day as my gold earrings with a cuff and chain, they came much later. They were small and fit inside a tiny envelope that is lined with bubble wrap. It can fit in any mailbox.

These are made of a silver metal. It does wrap nicely around the ear and stays on. My only worry is that the bottom part of the tail may fall off and I won't even notice because it doesn't seem very secure. Also, I bought two of them, one for each ear. However, both face the same direction (silly me, I should have known) so they look and are worn a little differently on each ear. So on the left is my left ear and on the right is my right ear. See how it wraps around the ears differently? But otherwise, I think they look awesome!

Pearl Cat Ear Headband

I've been seeing so many people with these cute cat ear headbands and I wanted one for myself! After much thought, I've decided I want to be a cat for Halloween. I don't know why I want to be a cat but I just do. Yeah, it's a little too early perhaps to be thinking of Halloween but I just wanted to get this headband now. Of course, I head to ebay to find something cheap.

Seller: europaper10000
Price: $4.02

This product came surprisingly quickly. I wasn't expecting it for a while and I was surprised to have received it in the mail. It is oddly shaped so it can't fit in my small mailbox because I have the teeny tiny ones for townhouses and apartments so they just left it on my doorstep. I'm in a safe neighborhood anyway so I'm fine with that. There was some bubbly wrap in there so the product doesn't break during shipping or anything,

This particular headband is gold with pearl decorations. The other option is silver with clear rhinestone decorations. I liked the pearl because it was more visible than the rhinestones. My ideal would have been silver with pearl decorations. Oh well.

This fits nicely around my head. I don't think it will fall off or anything. The ears are very large and quite obvious, so people can see it well. The pearls are large and white. I really like it. It seems durable, not likely to break easily. The headband itself is metal. I just hope none of the pearls come off.

Walmart Haul - face products

Went to Walmart a while back to buy some cosmetic things and face wash. I needed more face wash because I was running out. I also had some manufacturer coupons for Neutrogena and Clean and Clear for some cosmetics and face products so I decided to put them to good use. I had been looking for some more anti-acne products to use for my face outside of the shower. Something like a cream to put on dry skin.

I've tried a lot of face washes but I like this one the best. It feels kind of grainy and thick. It really leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It can be a little harsh though for sensitive skin types. I like stronger, harsher face washes because my face doesn't really get so dry. I've tried that Proactive face wash before but I didn't find it to be anything spectacular. I mostly liked the Proactive face lotion, so I was looking for a lotion kind of like it.

This face lotion boasts seeing a clear up of acne within 8 hours of use. I don't really have a lot of acne but the small ones on my face did disappear. Don't be fooled when it says lotion, this is by no means hydrating. In fact, it can dry out skin a little if you have dry skin. I have oily skin so this is pretty compatible with my face.

This is also another lotion that I use at night sometimes. It also helps clear up acne. It is a lot thicker than the Neutrogena one, a lot more viscous I guess. It's white and if you don't spread it out thin enough on your skin, it will leave a white film once it has dried. I guess if you aren't going anywhere, it doesn't really matter. But if you go out, make sure you don't have white stuff all over your face.

With all these products on my face, I can definitely feel them when I go in the shower and my face gets wet. It's like the product rehydrates and my face kind of feels slimy. That's how you know you have a lot of the product. Definitely nice to wash it all off and have a fresh clean face once again :)

Gold Chain Earring with Cartilage Cuff

I've been seeing these types of earrings around a lot and I've wanted to get one myself. I think they look so cool. I want it cheap, of course, because I'm stingy with my money. Also, because I don't wear earrings much because of school. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something I'll barely use.

Bought from: ebay
Seller: hittime_hk
Price: $0.99

As with all ebay things, it takes a while to arrive. I guess it came in about 3 weeks. The price is 99 cents each. I bought two, one for each ear, so it was $1.98 total. Free shipping.

So the cuff is really big and kind of loose. I had to bend the metal to make it tighter so that it won't fall off. It looks really nice though. Definitely work well with hair tied back or in a nice high ponytail :)

Fake Gauges & Cartilage Cuff

I love the look of the white bone gauges ever since a friend of mine was showing me the ones that she had a while back. I thought they were so beautiful. Most people I saw with gauges had the plastic ones and that didn't appeal to me but the bone and wood ones she was showing me were just gorgeous. I kind of wanted them but having a large gaping hole in my ear didn't really appeal to me. When I found out you could fake it, I was totally sold.

These are made of white bone. The tiny part for your ear are actually a little bit bigger than a normal earring but it's not overly huge. I bought this from ebay. I don't remember how much it is and who the seller is. I bought this a while ago but I still love it.

Another type of accessory I like is the ear cuff thing. I had thought before of getting a cartilage piercing but then I'd have to clean it and care for it for a while and if I forget to wear the earring, it can quickly close up. That's just a lot of hassle. So I figured I could fake that too.

I bought this on ebay. I don't remember who the seller is and how much I bought this for. I do remember that it did not come as a pair. I had to buy two of them to make a pair and I remember it wasn't as cheap as I had hoped it could be. It's very pretty. At first, it was a little big. I had to get some pliers and squeeze it a bit to make it smaller for my, I guess skinny, ear.

I like to wear them together when my hair is tied back or up in a ponytail. After all, they deserve to be seen :)

Long Feather Hair Extension (brown/black)

After my experience with my short feather extensions, I really wanted to try longer hair extensions. I was browsing Ulta one day and in their sale rack, they had tons of these long feather extensions. They were cheap so I just had to get one!

So this product was only $2.99, which is super cheap for ULTA. In fact, I would say these are cheap even by ebay standards. What I also like about them is that they have a piece of synthetic black hair attached that wraps around so it looks like a rope and it goes down to the bead where the feather is. So it looks like you have a piece of hair integrated with the feather. It's pretty cool.

It's actually longer than my real hair so I tend to wear it with extensions. It's a nice long length. In the picture, I'm wearing it with my short hair extension set.

MM makeup kit

For Christmas, a relative gave me this makeup kit but I didn't recognize the logo. I had honestly never seen the brand before. It looked cute though. So here are the parts of the kit:

There are no names for the colors here. Anyway, let's start with the left. I like the white, it makes a great highlighter. The black is wonderfully dark and goes on very well. The gray....it's a very light gray and for me, doesn't serve as a nice in between color. Now the brown. I love the lightest brown. It almost matches my skin color. The two darker browns...I can barely tell them apart when I put them on my lid. They almost were the exact same color.

The lip gloss, though pink, is very sheer. It might as well be clear. The mascara is nice but it tends to clump on the brush itself. Had to wipe it off a few times. The liquid liner is weird in that the brush is bent at the end. That was new and I had a hard time using it. The pencil liner sucks and won't show up when I put it on my waterline.

The nail polish is ok. It's a dark pink. I don't really use such a shade of pink that much. It goes well with some glitter though, which can be seen in my nail polish collection.

My aunt told me to tell her how the set was because she had never used it before either. I think if I could get used to the liquid liner brush, I would like it. The mascara is nice and some of the colors are nice. Overall as a set, it's ok. I do wonder where she bought this from though...

Barbie Puffy 3 tones Grey

With these lenses, I bought them because Uniqso was having a deal where a pair only cost $9.80! The deal was just too good to pass up. Not to mention, I had seen pretty good reviews on the lenses. I really did want to try them. I got these along with the puffy 3 tone blue when I purchased it. I had never tried blue lenses before so I decided to use the blue ones first. With how wonderfully the blue turned out to be, I was excited to see how the gray would look. Gray is my favorite color for circle lenses.

So normally, these lenses are priced at $7.90 per piece, which makes a pair cost $15.80. Every so often, Uniqso will have a deal on Barbie lenses so stay on the lookout! The Barbie brand is also part of the more well known Dueba brand, if ever you wanted to research the company a little bit more.

Color&Design
So far, the puffy design has been the most vibrant color I've ever tried. It's so beautiful and definitely catches attention, in a good way of course. I love the blending of the tones with the slightly darker ring with some yellowish streaks in the middle. One of the best in terms of color and design, in my opinion. The color is subtle, but very light.

Enlargement
Enlargement is good, but not great. Most people don't notice the enlargement. It's nothing obvious that makes me look like an alien and I go out without makeup with these lenses. It may say 16.5mm but it's really only 14.5mm. Noticeably smaller than my princess mimi sesame grey lenses, which are 15mm. So I wouldn't doubt that these are not even about 15mm.

Comfort
These are very comfortable. I can wear them all day with no problem, except when it is windy outside. The cold wind can really dry your eyes out. Other than that, the lenses have wonderful comfort. Nothing to complain about there.

I think these may just be one of my new favorite lenses. If only I didn't look so crazy in pictures when the lenses are looking different directions. All lens do that though. Another lens that have a similar design that I wouldn't mind trying is the Dolly Eye (EOS) puffy 3 tone grey.
