Barbie Puffy 3 tones Grey

With these lenses, I bought them because Uniqso was having a deal where a pair only cost $9.80! The deal was just too good to pass up. Not to mention, I had seen pretty good reviews on the lenses. I really did want to try them. I got these along with the puffy 3 tone blue when I purchased it. I had never tried blue lenses before so I decided to use the blue ones first. With how wonderfully the blue turned out to be, I was excited to see how the gray would look. Gray is my favorite color for circle lenses.

So normally, these lenses are priced at $7.90 per piece, which makes a pair cost $15.80. Every so often, Uniqso will have a deal on Barbie lenses so stay on the lookout! The Barbie brand is also part of the more well known Dueba brand, if ever you wanted to research the company a little bit more.

Color&Design
So far, the puffy design has been the most vibrant color I've ever tried. It's so beautiful and definitely catches attention, in a good way of course. I love the blending of the tones with the slightly darker ring with some yellowish streaks in the middle. One of the best in terms of color and design, in my opinion. The color is subtle, but very light.

Enlargement
Enlargement is good, but not great. Most people don't notice the enlargement. It's nothing obvious that makes me look like an alien and I go out without makeup with these lenses. It may say 16.5mm but it's really only 14.5mm. Noticeably smaller than my princess mimi sesame grey lenses, which are 15mm. So I wouldn't doubt that these are not even about 15mm.

Comfort
These are very comfortable. I can wear them all day with no problem, except when it is windy outside. The cold wind can really dry your eyes out. Other than that, the lenses have wonderful comfort. Nothing to complain about there.

I think these may just be one of my new favorite lenses. If only I didn't look so crazy in pictures when the lenses are looking different directions. All lens do that though. Another lens that have a similar design that I wouldn't mind trying is the Dolly Eye (EOS) puffy 3 tone grey.

This is the other one of the two pairs I got as my first circle lenses. I did not like this one as much as the Super Angel Gray. The color and design is kind of pixel-y and grainy, which I don't like. The limbal ring isn't very large, so it doesn't enlarge as much as the other, even though they are the same diameter. The color is not as vibrant because the colored part is more translucent whereas the super angel had more of an opaque color.

The pros are it is still pretty big. It is very comfortable. I actually found this one to be more comfortable than the super angel gray. I wore these all the time and they never gave me problems until many months later when I had to throw them away (it was time to be replaced anyway). I thought they were pretty good for everyday wear.

Although comfortable, I probably would not purchase these again.

I really loved these lenses. I'm surprised I don't have more pictures with them. These were one of the first circle lenses I got (I got two pairs when I first bought circle lenses). Honestly, I thought 14.8mm would be big because the site said that 14.8mm is pretty big but I don't think it is. I was expecting something much bigger.

They are gray but they look kinda of slate-ish blue in certain lights, which I thought was really cool. They are extremely comfortable. I wore them like normal contacts, which I probably shouldn't but oh well. The habit has settled in.

When I got these, I also got the Geo super nudy gray. Honestly, I liked these better. The color was more visible and the limbal ring was bigger, which made them seem larger.

Freshlook Contacts

Freshlook contacts are my old colored contacts. I don't have them anymore. I forget how long they are supposed to last but I'd say no more than three months of continuous wear. They are pretty comfortable though. Sometimes I forget I have them in and accidentally fall asleep, then wake up in the middle of the night confused because I can see clearly. The longest I've worn them is three days straight. By the way, you shouldn't do that. Don't follow my example. That's a terrible thing to do to your eyes. But if it does ever happen, they stayed in quite comfortable in those three days.

So I had a total of four colors of these contacts. These were the ones my mom bought me from the Philippines. They were pretty cheap, in my opinion.

These are the gray ones. I really like these. I wore them almost all the time.

These are the green ones. Oddly enough, these weren't my favorite even though my favorite color is green. They just don't look as good as I had hoped. Green eyes aren't really my thing anyway.

Hazel...

Yeah, I didn't really like these ones. They were basically a light brown. They did look kind of yellowish in the sunlight. But yeah, I have no photos whatsoever of me wearing this color. I guess I didn't like it that much.

These were my favorite. The color is sapphire blue and I picked them out myself. They were awesome. As you can see, the colored part is pretty small. You can kind of see my iris peeking out on the edges.

That's it for my colored contacts from the past. I still keep colored contacts because I wear them when I'm at home. I don't want my parents knowing I have circle lenses (I'm such a rebel). I'm sure my mother would not approve at all.
